Cupcakes, Cookies, & other Sweets.... Oh My!

Cakes are just the only sweets out there.... I do this for a living, and my own husband isn't really a "cake man". On the rare occasion when he does like something sweet, he prefers pies or cookies... or something along these lines....

This Groom didn't like cake either. The Bride came to me and asked me to make a Banana Pudding cake since Banana Pudding was his all time favorite dessert. I told her that if that what it was, then why mess with perfection? I served them in individual cups with their monogram on the flags and the reverse side had their wedding date.

This groom was a huge Baseball fan! So what better dessert to show his passion than to do Baseball Brownies. They were a huge hit!

What better way to celebrate the kids being out of school than with cookies.

Or you could do as my Mom did when we were growing up, and create a little Goodie treat bag for the kids to have fun with on the way down to the beach. Keeps them entertained and each child has their own cookies, so no sharing has to happen! :)

Baby Announcement Cookies

This adorable couple placed this cookie order with me before the birth of their little girl.

These cookies were individually wrapped and tied with a bow. These cookies were given out to the people that came to come visit them in the hospital, as well as bring them food and goodies to their house to welcome their angel.

I just think this is such a great idea for saying 'Thank You for being so Sweet!'

This client has 2 of the most adorable girls! They were having a "Pinkalicious" Birthday themed party. Pinkalicious is a very popular children's book right now (for those of you who don't know. Don't feel bad, I had to "Google" it once I got this request.)

and baking away........ Whew! It's been such a busy busy busy past 6 months! I know that I haven't been very good at posting pictures. We had a little camera mishap, so I went about 5+ months without one (I'm definitely the kind of person that waits to get something that I absolutely adore, and (blame my parents for this, but.....) I have the mentality of: "Save up and get what you really really want instead of just purchasing something to fill the void. You end up wasting $$, in my opinion...)- So.... I have been using my sister's camera for the past 6 months and been taking pictures, but haven't been so great at updating this blog. I do give it up to the people out there that update their blogs every single day. It's HARD work! I promise that I am going to do a better job at keeping this updated.... :)
